Thanks for the Brave support! I had not noticed it was working already because i was running the Beta version. If it's a small addition, please consider adding the Beta version as well. It doesn't currently work. ( https://brave.com/download-beta/ ) I'm assuming it's not currently working because the different installation path: /Users/me/Library/Application Support/BraveSoftware/Brave-Browser/ /Users/me/Library/Application Support/BraveSoftware/Brave-Browser-Beta/

All you need to do is select FireFox in the browser panel on the left, then check Facebook in the Cookie panel.

Firefox v 63 changed how it’s cookies are managed. And removing cookies whilst Firefox is open isn’t the best option anymore. Removing cookies when Firefox is closed is the best solution now.

I had issues with migration assistant when upgrading too. If you want to delete absolutely everything, uncheck everything. Safari has changed the way it manages cookies on Mojave, and it seems that removing them while safari is open is not super effective anymore. The best option is to now remove them when Safari is closed.

This is Apple’s new security model, and Cookie needs this to be able to do what it has always done. Read & Delete your Safari cookies. If you don’t need Cookie to manage Safari, then it is not required.

After rebooting my computer I ended back in the loop again. I could download the app but was informed that the app was bad, delete and re-download. At that point I did reach out to Apple and the only thing they could come up with is that I should reinstall MacOS. This has fixed the problem, for now. The problem has hit me several times in the past several months. FYI, before reinstalling I had a similar issue when trying to open 1Password to get my credentials for another site. So it isn't isolated to your app. In the future I will go straight for Apple Support. Not sure what is happening to MacOS or why but it certainly is discouraging. I do want to thank you for your timely response & for a great product. Chip

@marcwestergard ah perfect! v5.9.4 should fix this issue, as Cookie will *now prompt you to give Full Disk Access if you do not already have it. The version from my store always did, but now the Mac App Store version will also do this.

In my experience it is not unusual for Twitter to prompt for a phone number after the first login of a newly created account.

Yes, and yes, but still no apparent communication between Cookie 5 and the browser's other than when I launched Cookie 5 for the first time a few weeks ago.
