Development on v5 has stopped, so any bug fixes and new features will only be applied to v6.

This will be fixed in v6.0.2. If you are running the version from my store, you can upgrade to the beta version which already has the fix.
you should be able to import it from the main window. just click the small heart icon in the bottom right of the window.
Wow. Nice sleuthing work. More like ghost databases since the data is gone and only a shadow remains. Look forward to the update. Thanks for the help.
Just did the set-up again - now I had the option to uncheck websites. It remains odd that I cannot do that later, but at least they're gone now. Problem solved.

A grey menu bar icon means Cookie is currently paused. If you click the enable automatic removals menu item, or the start button in the main window.
have you tried restarting Cookie
