    Thanks for the followup.
The App Store wasn't letting me re-install Cookie, having deleted it, because I had a back-up drive mounted, and the Store was reading Cookie installed on that drive.

unfortunately I havnt implemented anything like this...
but you could export your favorites to a file then manually edit the file and re-import. Its pretty simple:

export your favorites (using the little heart icon in the bottom of the window) open up the exported file with TextEdit
the file will look something like: { "Safari" : [ "duckduckgo.com", "sweetpproductions.com" ] } just change Safari to Safari TP, your file should now look like this: { "Safari TP" : [ "duckduckgo.com", "sweetpproductions.com" ] } re-import back into Cookie, once again using the little heart icon.

Importing the new file will ADD to any favorites you already have, so you won't lose any of your current favorites

Using 4.6 Within the last months I get massive amounts of cookies in private browsing mode. I'm constantly removing them. This never happened before with cookie. Its as if cookie doesn't exist. Running Yosemite on a Macbook Pro 2016

Sorry not to ask this before Russell. Is there a database for Cookie favorites that I can transfer to Cookie in my new clean install Yosemite machine? Or do I have to start over and redo them all?

Separate question. And while I'm asking, is there a way to have one entry in Cookie for both Firefox ESR (24 entries) and Safari (31 entries) cookies? Is that what's in  "All" panel with 42 entries? The numbers reported don't seem to add up since there are also 8 entries for Chrome and 8 for Opera. And none for Tor.

    warm regards,
    Cris

    ok,

your favorites file may be corrupted.
you can delete it, and re-select your favs.
this is what you need to do:

disable any Timers quit Cookie delete this file:
~/Library/Application Support/Cookie/Favorites.plist restart Cookie re-select your favorites re-enble any Timers

can you let me know if that helps

You need to favourite the site, and then whitelist any tracking cookies via the contextual menu (right-click/control-click)

That cookie is set because I use CloudFlare to help speed up and protect my site. apparently it can't be disabled. I removed Google Analytics from my site a couple of years ago as I thought it was a conflict of interests.

Thanks for your response; I followed your instructions and will see if the bank recognizes me next time. I thought having the checkmark under the heart for the entire bank would have done that already, but I see there is nothing on my whitelist until now.

It is a MAS version.  I copied the .plist files to a temp dir, killed the process with activity monitor, deleted the app at both the user and system levels and re-downloaded from MAS.  Then brought back the .plist files and all is well.

With version 5, does Safari no longer show cookies deleted by Cookie5 while Safari is still running?  If so, I will upgrade to it.
