I have settings so that unwanted data is removed when the browser quits however. however, lately I always get notifications that cookies have been removed whenever I switch to chrome — this happens only when I switch to chrome (not other browsers).

This just started happening recently. Notification say "removed unwanted cookies" and then it has the same notification for each of my profiles in chrome.

This happened several times in a day; so, now I have several dozen notifications that say "removed unwanted cookies from chrome..." and then it has the name of the profile.

@nelly I am experiencing same issue on macOS 11.6.2

It's become so unpredictable that I had to stop using it. After some time I decided to seek support and found your post here. Rather than creating a new post I'd like to vote on this.

Can I request a redesign of the layout? To me the buttons are very small and too close to each other. I find myself struggling to find the exact spot to click.

Are there certain options in this area [where is says "select unwanted data" ] that can prevent tabs from last session being deleted?

I just got cookie 5 and really like it (after using privatus for many years).

Can you help me configure cookie so that the pages that I last visited remain when opening the browser again? I remove cookies on browser quit but I also want to have the same windows open when I re-open the browser.

When I unmark all options in the Removal tab of advanced view of cookie 5 this works. Is this the best possible method?
