Uncheck does not work

thats interesting,
any chance you could zip/archive your Chrome folder and email it to me.
delete any sensitive cookies first (in chrome if you have to)
support@sweetpproductions.comand the location of the Chrome folder:
~/Library/Google/Chrome*note that the folder is in your User Library
https://appletoolbox.com/how-to-show-your-user-library-in-macos-high-sierra-and-sierra/ -
There is no folder ~/Library/Google/Chrome
There is ~/Library/Applicaton Support/Google/ChromeIs that what you mean?
If so, it is quite large for e-mail (1.3G)!
BTW, I checked on a second computer, my laptop also running 10.14.6 and got the exact same problem.

So, will this be on your radar to fix? I do know I can remove all Cookie preferences and start over, as a means to correct. Since this happens on two of my computers, which are quite separate, I am surprised you cannot reproduce.
-
The problem persists in Version 6.1.
-
This issues does not appear to be a problem in version 5.13. Not sure if that was the latest of version 5 or not.
-
@aubreyapple thats is the last version of Cookie 5.
I still cant reproduce this, there is something unique about your system which I can't reproduce. As soon as the issue becomes apparent for me - I can fix it.

Thanks for trying. When I first tried it today it had the same problem in 6.1.1. Then I deleted all preferences, which I had tried before. Now when I try it it seems to refuse to allow access to /private/var/folders (I can only cancel, not accept). That said, it is now working ok on one of my computers. I have not tried it on my other one yet. Will report later.

Some more aha's. If I enable Safari, then Chrome works. If I disable Safari, Chrome does not work. If I go to enable Safari, it asks me to allow /private/var/folders. If I click on allow, it brings up the Allow dialog. If I click on Allow, it leaves the dialog present, but only Cancel is available. After that, and after enabling Safari, Chrome now works. If I disable Safari, Chrome stops working (at least with regard to checking and unchecking an item.) Hope this helps. BTW, Cookie does have full disk access in System Preferences.
