Hi and thanks for your reply. I found that an answer I think you gave helped me. It was really useful. It was the full reset process but it didn't take long and worked fine. Regards, Richard

Cookie 6.0.15 repeatedly asks for permissionsSince updating to Cookie version 6.0.15 I find that Cookie repeatedly asks for permission to access various folders. If I try to quit Cookie I get in a loop where a request comes up from Cookie as soon as I select Cookie from the menubar and before I can quit it. Help would be appreciated as I think I'm going to have to do a safe re-start and delete the Cookie app.

Cookie wants to access an old user account@SweetP Hi Russell and thanks for your thoughts. I followed your suggestion but on a restart there was the old user account stuff. I'm really not sure if I shouldn't just hide (by making invisible) those recurring folders to get them off my mind and simply ignore them.
Thanks anyhow, Richard

Cookie wants to access an old user accountAbout a year ago I had to create a new user account. This was a temporary measure and that account is now deleted. I find though that every time the iMac restarts Cookie want to access the old non-existen accoutn. It even seems to create a couple of empty folders with the old user account name!
How can I stop Cookie doing this?
