@SweetP Is it normal for the heavy demand when Showing Cookie, or shutting down the browser? It went to 96.1% before slowly going down to zero CPU. Is this from the app checking all the cookies and deleting non-Favorites and non-Bookmarks?

6.8 will not runMaybe it was a transitory problem. I just tried 6.8.3 again, but shut down Cookie before updating it. The progress ran for under a minute, and Activity Monitor showed it was using 62.3% of CPU, then dropped to 40.6%, and then .4%, then Zero.

6.8 will not run@JML Maybe it's 6.8.x that has the problem. The progress runs for a LONG time in 6.8.2, also, going from 44% CPU down to 32 when I took the screen shot!

6.8 will not run@SweetP Safari and Chrome. When I did the update the progress circle kept going for about 5 minutes until I shut it down. I have the Advanced window option when I "show Cookie."

6.8 will not run@SweetP Version 6.8.3, released today, just hangs. The progress circle (?) keeps spinning and spinning... It uses 86% of CPU. I had to revert to 6.8.2.

6.8 will not run@SweetP , 6.8.1 does not fix the problem. Exactly the same behavior as 6.8.0. The updated app is unresponsive, never loads in the menu bar, and has to be shut down from Activity Monitor.

6.8 will not runThe update for 6.8 has problems. The update seems to fail (the app won't open after the update). The app is "running" but will not respond and does not run properly. Activity Monitor shows it is not responding. I have no access to the app via the menu bar or by launching it directly, so it can only be shut down from the Activity Monitor. I tried three times to update and had to revert to 6.7.3.

6.7.4 - Not recognizing registrationI was finally able to get it to recognize the code MANUALLY. The registration link did not work in the email. And this turned off my automatic removal, too.

6.7.4 - Not recognizing registrationMy license code is NOT recognized anymore! The app is showing an expired trial version, and my 2019 name and registration code will not be accepted. All was fine before.

Cookie 6 not recognizing "Full disk Access"I forgot to note that removing the Cookies.binaryCookies file alone did not help, but after deleting Cookie (via AppCleaner) and reinstalling it was OK.

Cookie 6 not recognizing "Full disk Access"I could fix this after migrating to a new MacBook Pro with Catalina only by a complete removal of Cookie and a completely new installation. It was driving me nuts once Cookie was opened at boot - I had to shut it down with Activity Monitor.
