Keep getting Sparkle folder in Applications folder

Dear SweetP,

I love Cookie, but am having an issue.

Cookie.app (6.8.2) is in my Applications folder (MacOS 12.6) and seems to be running okay. But there are a series of folders named "(A Document Being Saved By Sparkle)" created in Applications, each with their own "Cookie.app" file inside it—and they all seem to have different sizes and versions (from 6.6.7 and up). Screenshot attached.

Should I delete these? And how do I avoid more being created?

@wills22 that is odd, you can safely delete them all. let me know if any more are created
