So I did this recent update, and now it's back to not working again. The install I originally bought directly from SweetP needed scripts to be installed as well. HOwever, I thought the release notes for 6.0.17 said we wouldn't need to do that anymore. But I have it set to delete cookies upon quitting Safari, and it fails to do that. Do I need to download more scripts? This is getting to be a real pain.

Cookie 6.0.17 broke Safari cookie removal -
Since update to Safari 13 Cookie 6 not recognizing "Full disk Access"For me, this problem was related to remnants of Cookie 5. Once I got rid of those, everything worked as promised.
FYI, this is what I had to do:- Drag Cookie 6 to AppCleaner.
- Reinstall Cookie 5, then drag Cookie 5 to AppCleaner
- Delete anything related to Cookie 5 that didn’t get uninstalled in Containers folder and Applications Scripts folder
- Empty the trash
- Reinstall Cookie 6
- AVOID option to import Cookie 5 settings
- Allow Global File Access
Then the Enable Safari browser function worked and I’m able to get to the cookie window.

Cookie 6 not recognizing "Full disk Access"@LEoM I restarted with no luck. Stuck in an infinite loop trying to "Enable" for Safari.

Help me defend Cookie on Apple Support CommunitySo- the result is that Cookie was not at fault. The Google dashboard no longer worked due to interference of the Duck Duck Go extension in Safari. Disabling that extension solved the problem.

Help me defend Cookie on Apple Support CommunityI just had a Level 10 user, meaning they're supposed to be an expert, tell me flat out that third party cookie management is not necessary on a Mac. I feel they couldn't be more wrong, but other than point out that cookie is "automated privacy" as you description says, I didn't do a good job of defending Cookie.
The question came up because I'm noticing that the upper right corner of the Google window started acting erratically some time in the last 3 weeks- the user icon disappears so that I can't log out and the little matrix of squares representing the Google apps comes and goes. The Level 10 person is blaming Cookie for this problem with Google.
Can anyone help me defend Cookie? I'm still on macOS El Capitan and Safari 10.0.1 :dodgy:
Here is what Level 10 said:Third party cookie management apps are not necessary on a Mac and may be causing a conflict with Google. Uninstall that app
Then go to your Safari menu bar, clickSafari > Preferences
then select the Privacy tab then click either Remove All Website Data or Manage Website Data. Wait for cookies to populate then clickRemove All
Quit then relaunch Safari to try Gmail. -
Newbie question- my favorites seem ineffectiveThanks for your response; I followed your instructions and will see if the bank recognizes me next time. I thought having the checkmark under the heart for the entire bank would have done that already, but I see there is nothing on my whitelist until now.

Newbie question- my favorites seem ineffectivesearched for "favorites", but didn't find a relevant subject, so here goes.
I just want my bank to stop forcing me to enter a text code because they don't recognize my computer. I know this is because Cookie is deleting their info. I have gone to Cookie 4.5.8/Safari/ and checked the favorites (heart) box next to chase, and this is still happening. Have also checked the heart in the flash cookies window. No other chase instances show up. Why is Chase not recognizing me every time I log in? I have the same problem with other banks.
