Cookie not removing cookies

Thanks Russell. Still not perfect. For instance the imdb.com cookie refuses to be removed… I could also remove some cookies using CleanMyMac X, but still some cookies persist (such as imdb.com).

Do you have this https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/imdb-movie-search/ or some other IMDb extension installed?

If so, the cookies which are not removed are likely browser extensions. These are whitelisted in Cookie by default. You can change this setting in the Advanced tab in Cookie Settings.

Just Uncheck the option “Never remove Browser extensions’

No, I don't have this extension. And this imdb.com "cookie" contains 11 items, one of which is a tracking cookie, and 3 of which have an sqlite extension.

hmm, I can't recreate this. Cookie deletes imdb and all other cookies just fine on my setup...

Using the extension, I can delete all items of the "imdb.com" Firefox cookie, except one (see screen capture).
This item does not appear in the cookies.sqlite file in the Firefox profile, if I open it with an SQLite editor. But it does appear in the cookies.sqlite file if I open it with a text editor.

It could be a corrupted Cookies.sqlite file. Perhaps this is why Cookie is choking. You could quit Firefox and move that file to the trash to start fresh

I am also having a removal problem, '23 MBP all current.
I have the cookie settings set to remove all on quit and remove all on startup.
Neither seems to work so I am removing using the "remove all button"
current license
