    Hi,

I am using Cookie 7.1.4 together with Safari 17.1 in Mac OS Sonoma 14.1. Cookie is set to automatically remove all data except Favicons and Downloads upon browser quit.

After quitting the browser, checking that Cookie in the menu bar shows no unwanted data to be removed and then reopening Safari results in a reappearance of the browser history. Does anyone have the same issue?

Safari is using iCloud. I have already reinstalled Cookie with no change in behaviour. I have experience with Cookie since version 5.

    Thanks

This is perhaps being restored via iCloud

That was my first idea, but is this expected behaviour?

If iCloud for Safari is enabled, then unfortunately yes… Safari doesn’t have any official APIs to do this… unlike all other browsers…
