Missing display and no complete deletion

@SweetP thank you Russell. But! Maybe I don't understand what Cookie should actually clear!
I did the following:
CookieCache cookies, History and Local storage will stay displayed in Safari till you restart Safari. And that local storage object is likely being regenerated upon opening Safari
- Cookie shows that everything is removed.
- I re opened Safari, then Safari Settings>>Privacy>>Manage Website Data and this only shows:
- startpage.com and Cache (I use startpage as my home page)
- I then opened the following pages:
- I reviewed Manage Website Data and I see the following combinations:
- Cache and HTTP Alternative Services
- Cache
- Cache, Local Storage, and HTTP Alternative Services
- HTTP Alternative Services
- Cache, Cookies, Databases, and Local Storage
- Cache, Cookies, Local Storage, and HTTP Alternative Services
- Cache, Cookies, Local Storage, and HSTS Policy
- Cache and Local Storage
- I then Quit Safari and waited approximately 1 minute
- I checked Cookie>>Show Cookie and everything is cleared.
- I re-opened Safari>>Settings>>Privacy>>Manage Website Data and I had two items showing:
- forbe.com Cache
- startpage.com Cache
- I closed Safari again and waited for over a minute.
- Again Cookie showed all things cleared but in Safari the forbes.com Cache was still showing.
My MacBook Pro is up to date with the macOS and Safari - all under Ventura.
Depending on which website, other than already mentioned, I have items remaining some time later or from 1/2 or 3 days ago if I go and check Manage Website Data!!
This seems to be happening under Ventura whereas before items were cleared, as in everything.Ventura seems to create problems though, my experience. My Swiss health insurance webpage/login portal is playing up since Ventura was installed and I have reported it but they still cannot fix it... I even tried on my old white MacBook running HighSierra and the site worked fine and on a friends iMace running highSierra and it all runs fine.. but my MacBook with Ventura it plays up. It works in the end but the login is not flowing...
Thanks for your assistance.

@SweetP thanks and I've done various ways.. and I am still left with 'stuff'...
I'm sorry for me but it is intermittent and that is annoying to say the least. At the moment I have a bbc.com databases still showing in the safari website manager... I've tried closing safari with/without internet connection.. I've waited.. but I go back in - with/without internet connection and it is still there... I logged into different sites and they clear. I don't know what else to tell you...

@angels so I posted my previous words and then things were still not cleared... I then went to search for a village here in Switzerland and found it.. so google maps was used via safari browser... before I closed safari...and still connected to the internet all the way... cookies etc., etc., from google and analytics but they all went after I closed the browser and then went back in... but BBC.com databases was still sitting there and the other one I hadn't mentioned, sorry, was standard.co.uk... it will not delete... i had thought.. is it picking up from my iPhone that is synced via iCloud for Safari but all that was cleared as well... !!!!! ooohhh.. your cookies etc., delete

@SweetP said in Missing display and no complete deletion:

I restarted Safari and the local storages were still there. They were local storages from pages I visited before and were not cleared by cookies. After restarting Safari, I have not yet visited any web pages, so these local storages should not appear, right?

@angels Ive just uploaded version 6.8.7 which should fix the database removal problem. apologies for the slow fix.
@TomTheThomse hmm, I havn't come across this issue with LocalStorage issues. what happens if you disconnect from the internet and remove data in Cookie. Then restart Safari?
Because Safari can download data in the background even if you don't have an page loaded. -
@SweetP thank you so much Russell... dare I say, 'if I have any more problems, I will be back...' :). Thanks for making this product/program though... I do appreciate it and even if this is over the top to say this on a support page.. I once was looking in amazon at a game to buy for friends (in the German site) a few years ago and then logged into FB (without closing Safari) and next thing popped up an advertisement for the same Game. I was shocked. I looked around to see if there was someone in my apartment. After that I did a lot of research on Cookies and became fanatical about removing them. Then I discovered your program... which saves me time.. so I really want to tell you.. Thank you...

Now unfortunately I have the problem again that the app does not delete.
I'm on the web with Safari, quit Safari completely, the app only shows favorites, but caches are still there.Cookie v7.0.7
