Can't complete cookie5 installation (Full Disk Access problems)

Just done a fresh install of my High Sierra and got down to installing cookie5, but it when it gets to "cookie needs access to this folder..." even though it is pointing to my profile folder correctly all that happens is that same dialogue keeps opening but without having selected any of the browsers (Firefox / Safari / Brave) and it won't let me past this point!
Been using a fully registered version for a while now and never seen this behaviour before.
Any suggestions PLEASE?

try deleting the container folder and restarting the setup:
~/Library/Containers/com.sweetpproductions.Cookie5
