Cookie doesn't see Firefox cookies when Firefox is open

Firefox 63 beta 12
macOS Mojave 10.14.1 betaWhen Firefox is open, Cookie doesn't see any of Firefox's cookies (it shows as Firefox having 0 unique cookies). As soon as I close Firefox, Cookie is able to see all cookies and cleanup properly. Previously, Cookie had no issue with showing cookies while Firefox was open; this seems to be a change in how Firefox handles cookies, but I'm unsure when exactly this change occurred.

did you see this thread:

Yup, I double checked my settings and have it set to "Keep until they expire"
It seems as though there was a change in how Firefox handles cookies in Firefox 63. I tested it using a clean install of FF Developer Edition: with FF Dev Edition 62 installed, Cookie has no problem seeing cookies while FF is open. As soon as I upgrade to 63, Cookie can only see cookies when FF is closed.

the latest beta should now work:

not working for me, Cookie 5.9.2 and Firefox 63.0. Cookie displays only favorite cookies, the other ones are not shown. Firefox has a lot of them, but Cookie does not show or delete them. After diabling favorites and reenabling them, no cookies from Firefox are shown at all.

I have the settings just this way. I deleted the cookies from within FF, shut it down, restarted it and logged in to different sites. No cookies show up in Cookie.
Restarting Cookie doesn't help either.BTW, every time I start Cookie it tells me I should enable Full Disk Access, which I have done. I am running Cookie 5.9.2 and FF 63.0

@P-J strange,
do you have Firefox installed in your Applications folder?
are you using custom profiles?Also, is Cookie in your Applications folder?
make sure to delete the Cookie5.dmg file also - this can cause theFull Disk Access
issues you are seeing. -
@SweetP no profiles, all in the standard locations. I had the Cookie5 app (App Store version) still in the trash and the Cookie5.dmg in Downloads, I cleaned that up.
Now it looks better, I am seing more cookies and databases now. So it seem to be working after that cleanup. -
@SweetP after letting both browser and Cookie running for a couple of hours, Cookie stops displaying the non-favorite cookies, it just shows a handful of favorites.
But there are a lot of cookies showing in the browser. So I do not get the info about these in Cookie and I cannot delete them.
