Finder's menu bar, why is the Cookie5 icon black or white ?

I do not remember, it was laways black, I updated my Macos and now it is white
I feel something is wrong and it should not be white

(note image below shows Black as taken from another Mac running Sierra
the white one is on my Mac running High Sierra)

ah yes,
that means the Cookie is disabled.
all you need to do is this:

• Click on the icon
• click on the menu item "Enable Automatic Removal"
