I've been using Cookie for some time, quite successfully with Safari. I've started to used Firefox and Chrome, seems to be fine with FF, does not clear history, cookies in Chrome. Am I missing something?

There are some issues with v4.0.3 of cookie. V4.1 is waiting for review with Apple right now, and should be available next week. If you're running the trial version, you can get the prerelease version here:
    http://sweetpproductions.com/products/cookie/4048.zip

    Sorry for any inconvenience.

it should clear Chrome's history, are you getting the warning popup?
that would block removal till you click either yes or no

Nothing at all. In the Cookie main window, under the cookie tab with the list of browsers, under chrome it has "first user".

History removal won't be finalised till you restart
    Chrome.

No, tried all that many times. I've installed another extension into Chrome that works well, but would prefer to use Cookie.

Hi, and thanks for allowing me to join the forum.

    System 10.10.5
    Chrome Version 46.0.2490.80 (64-bit)
    Cookie ver. 4.5.4

As far as I can tell, Cookie has no involvement with Chrome.
The Cookies Preferences Cookies menu displays only a Safari pick with the
pane on the right being Firefox only.

Any information on how to utilize Cookie's functions within Chrome,
will, of course, be most appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Mongoose

I'm having trouble with Cookie 4 (and 5) recognizing my Chrome cookies. Often, Cookie 4 will start up with a proper tally of my favorite cookies, but at some time during a browsing session, Cookie seems to forget all my cookies and the counts all go to 0 (see attached screenshot)[attachment=32]. The cookies are still there, though - when I quit Cookie and Chrome, and restart Cookie, the favorited cookie counts all reappear.

My cookie file is located at /Users/username/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default/Cookies

Why is Cookie not working properly with this file?
