Do you have another copy of Cookie on your computer somewhere?

The test build does not help. Still getting two icons in the dock on restart.

I have the same issue. Only thing I can do is close Cookie, which closes both icons, and then restart it. Would love to have a fix please.

I fixed my situation by experimenting with the settings Preferences. Ended up by ticking all 4 settings:
              Show Cookie in menu bar
              and Hide Dock Icon
              Open Cookie at Login
              and Hide

In System Preferences I do not have Cookie listed as Auto Load.

I get the same thing. I made sure I had only one version of cookie (having previously deleted cookie and it’s associated files). I also made sure it was not in my ‘start at login’ set but was flagged in it’s own preferences to start at login. I still, from time to time, get two copies of the icon at the top of the window. I’d love to find out why it happens and stop it. Any advice or ideas would be welcome.

On a different note is there any way, in a cookie window, to sort by numer of cookies or tracking cookies. I’d like that to help me judiciously remove some tracking cookies.

                Thanks, Ric

can you give this version a try:
                  http://sweetpproductions.com/products/cookie/Cookie3017a.zip

it fixes the problem on my setup.

Sure, I’ll give it a try - though I’ve been using the App store version recently. Will that cause me any issues?

                    Cheers, R

no problems, other than you'll only be able to use it for 2 weeks before the trial expires.
