endless permission requests

Just upgraded to Monterey OS on one laptop. Also bought a new Macbook with Apple M1pro chip, running Monterey. On both computers, I get into an endless loop of folder permissions. Going to prefs and clicking "remove sandbox permissions" -- won't that just start the looping all over again, disabling all browsers? Confused here...

@jperegrine sorry I just saw this now. Did you figure it out. Removing permissions should fix your problem
