I've had to quit using Cookie 5.0.3.8.8, as it is spiking CPU usage to 140% or so.
MacBook cycles from 0% to 140%, iMac remains steady at around 130%.
"App busy" spinning graphic appears in Cookie window.
But it's not frozen, as I can still delete tracking cookies in this state.

El Capitan 10.11.4,  Cookie beta 5.0.3.8.8, running current Firefox and Safari

I'm having the same problems. I can restart Cookie and it will move down to 0% CPU. But once it gets active, the CPU stays at 90-120% with a spinning disc in the Cookie window.

        Cookie 5.0.3
        OS 10.11.5
        iMac (27-inch, Late 2013)
        3.4 GHz Intel Core i5
        Safari

try upgrading to Cookie 5.0.8 or even the latest beta (5.0.8.3)

I am using 5.0.8 and having the same problem. I have 13 Chrome users, and when I disable Chrome, the problem vanishes.

Try upgrading to 5.0.10 and see if that helps.
