That’s what seems to happen to me too. The only difference is mine is set to random when first connecting to any network. It always seems to use the hardware address.

@sweetp As of v3.8.4 it shows that dialogue once when I start it after a restart, then does not appear until another restart. Other than the dialogue appearing, everything seems to be normal.

@sweetp still see that message with v3.8.3, today. Click on it and WS seems to run but then stops and I need to restart it. I do not know what makes it stop.

I click on the “current address”, “randomize” but nothing seems to happen. How can I randomize this?

@sweetp OK, I think I've got it. I guess I made my network a favourite. Once I changed that, it seemed to work again.

Yes to both questions. For what it's worth, since the last update clicking on the Helper doesn't open it after reboot, I have to download it again, click on it after moving it to applications, and then it works fine.

@sweetp Hi there! I'm afraid that v3.5.1 still seems to have the problem. I rebooted yesterday and things did not work until I manually clicked on the MAS Helper.

At least since Big Sur 11.1, the MAS does not come on after reboot and most of the WS dialogue is greyed out. if I click on MAS, it starts, and everything works fine. I thought, as a workaround, I could put the MASS helper in the login items, so it would start on reboot?

Using the App Store version. Although the address randomizes, it is always one from the Wingtech Group.
I have the rule to randomize on new connection, random address, random vendor. However, even if I click the randomize button it always goes to a Wingtech address, even if I change to another vendor.
