ioctl (SIOCAIFADDR): Can't assign requested address

Hi,
The MAC address changing doesn't work for Macbook M2 + Sonoma.
If I'm trying to change the MAC address manually via terminal it gives me this error:

ifconfig: ioctl (SIOCAIFADDR): Can't assign requested address

People experience the same problem:

Which version of WiFiSpoof do you use, the App Store version, or the version from my store? Both require a helper app to be installed before you can change your MAC address.

I downloaded WiFi spoof 3.9.3 straight from your website. I installed the helper but I'm still experiencing the same issue. Can you pls provide the link to the helper tool again?

Try running the helper uninstaller:
https://sweetpproductions.com/products/wifispoof3/WiFiSpoofHelperUninstaller.dmg

Then restart WiFiSpoof, and reinstall the Helper.

Also, how are you verifying that WiFiSpoof isn't working
Does WiFiSpoof show your newly selected address in its main window, after pressing either the Update or Randomize button?
