Favicons not being saved

I have Cookie's preferences set so as to not delete favicons (i.e. Cookie > Configure Unwanted Data > UNchecked Browser History (AND UNchecked Favicons).

But even with these settings I am losing my favicons in the address window and in the drop down Bookmark menu bar of Safari.

I'm running the newest Cookie version and OS X 10.8

How can I get Cookie to leave the favicons alone?

This is odd,

I tried myself, and got the same result as you.
what worked was disabling the setting in Cookie, as you already have done, and then quitting and restarting Cookie.

Ill look into this, and provide a fix.
