Location, location, location....

I am having issues with geotagging and watching some movies. I thought I would be able to use this to spoof my location. It seems no matter what I do the actual location doesn't change.
At the bottom of my google search page is my actual city address. What on earth am I do then if not changing the MAC address to help change my specific location?
