Cookie is eating all my memory. How does one fix this?

  • Damn Russell that was a quick response. I've attach a screen shot of my databases.

  • thats not so many...
do you use the timer at all?

I have only noticed this happen once on my own system, but couldn't pinpoint it.
after a restart of Cookie the issue disappeared, so I thought it was an anomaly.

I'll look into it more though

  • Timer is set to ten minutes. I haven't had this happen until a few days ago. It crashed when I clicked on the cookie icon in the upper right to check to see if my timer was on. Here is the log.

  • also,
Cookie uses more memory when the window is open, as it attempts to reload each time a new cookie is created.

  • thanks for the crash log
are you using the MAS version, or the trial version?

  • don't worry,
I found where the crash came from

  • I have an idea how to improve memory usage,
Ill try implementing this when i get a bit of free time.

  • Sorry to hijack the thread, but for some reasons my new thread didn't seem to pass the spam filter.

Given that no info is available, I was wondering about Cookie's (MAS) compatibility with Mavericks and Safari 7.

    Thanks for your time,

  • Cookie is fully compatible with Mavericks.

    I think i have a fix,
Ill update to the MAS tonight, it should be available in a week i guess.

  • v3.0.19 is available now, and should hopefully fix this issue once and for all....
