I just noticed that Chrome's 'Downloads' are not being cleared by Cookie 5.
In 'Unwanted Data' we do have "Downloads' selected and we are using 'Remove on Browser Quit.'
    Tested with several Chrome 'People.'

    Cookie 5 MAS 5.9.9
    Chrome 74.0.3729.131
    macOS 10.13.6

I've tried disabling and reenabling Chrome in Cookie with no improvement. Also tested in a newly created Chrome 'Person' and the 'Downloads' are still not being cleared.

Ive just uploaded beta version 5.9.9.4
can you let me know if it fixes the downloads removal for you

ah I see you're on the MAS version.
but, you still can download the beta from here:

I just want to confirm that the non MAS beta can be installed alongside the current MAS version. I'll probably put the beta in ~/Applications
    Thanks.

you can only run one copy of Cookie at a time. So you would need to close the Mac App Store version before you open the trial version. and vice-versa

I'll test the 5.9.9.4 beta soon.
If anything Cookie related becomes corrupted as a result of mixing the MAS and non-MAS beta version I'm probably going to freak out a little bit.

    @Timmy really?
are you deleted the downloads while Chrome is open or closed - because Its more than likely cached while open.

As mentioned in the initial report, we are using 'Remove on Browser Quit.'

Ive been working on another app, but I got back to work on this today.
the latest Beta should fix it:

    The 5.9.9.5. beta looks good!
    Chrome downloads are being cleared!
I've only tested this using Remove "On Browser Quit" since that is how I use Cookie in all of my browsers.
    Thanks for resolving this, Russell!
Since you are such a browser expert I have a free idea for you for a Safari extension! Interested?
