    Hi. I'm continually getting this msg when Hides starts up (png included). What can I do to stop this - the program is installed as per normal in /Applications but the msg points to a file (hides.app) in /private which I can't get rid of.

    ah weird,

    I get this all the time with various apps im developing... its so annoying. Its because you have multiple copies of Hides on your computer.
    you should be able to remove the file by opening:
    */Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app*
    type in this:

    sudo rm

    then drag in the troublesome Hides.app file from the finder window
    hit Enter

    *be careful with this command, you can do some serious damage to your computer!!!
