App Store vs SweetP purchase

What is the difference between purchasing Cookie 5 from the App Store ($13.99) vs purchasing direct from SweetP ($14.99)? Are there differences in the app, or installation?

The ap Store version you need to manually download and install some scripts. The trial version installs them for you. If you have used the trial version before purchasing the App Store version, then the scripts will already be installed.

The trial version has access to beta updates via the preferences.

Those are the only differences. Both versions do the same thing.

Thanks - I just started using the trial version. I just updated to Sierra from Mavericks and found Safari Cookies no longer works, and am happy that Cookie is available in its place.
