Console message about "deny (1) file-read-data" for removed firefox profile
-
Hey Russell,
whenever I start my mac with Cookie 5.0.6 installed, the console is full of messages about deny file-read-data.
Several locations are listed which seem to be a problem. Most messages are about a location which no longer exists since the firefox profile in question has been removed a while ago. How can I go about this and tell cookie that this firefox profile no longer exists?
Attached a .txt file of the console messages.

you could try resetting Cookie's sandbox permissions:
- open up the "Advanced" tab in Preferences.
- click the button "Remove all Sandbox Premissions"
- then back in Cookie's main window
disable/enable any browser.
can you let me know if this helps.

Great, this did the trick. The gone firefox profile no longer appears in console.app.
The remaining entries are:
21.05.16 00:31:56,000 kernel[0]: Sandbox: Cookie(399) deny(1) file-read-data /Users/username/Library/Application Support/Chromium/Local State
21.05.16 00:31:56,000 kernel[0]: Sandbox: Cookie(399) deny(1) file-read-data /Users/username/Library/CookiesAre those of any concern? Can I do something about them?
