Chrome - Cookie list grays out after a time

I posted this issue in the Cookie 4 forums, and never got a response. It is consistently happening to me in Cookie 5, as well.

After opening Chrome and loading various tabs, the list of cookies in Cookie eventually goes completely gray and stops updating. When I quit Chrome, the Cookie list then reactivates and proceeds to delete the non-favorites it had accumulated before it grayed out. (Screenshots attached)

Do you have any idea why Cookie 5 would stop working like this during a Chrome session?

thats odd?
normally a grey cookie indicates that it is not on disk, but that doesn't look like whats happening here.

Ill have a play with Chrome, and see if I can replicate this.
