Cookie hangs in mountain lion

Hi:
Bought Cookie and used it successfully for Snow Leopard. Now using Mountain Lion 10.8.1.
Whenever I launch it, it hangs – spinning ball – and I have to force quit.
Do you have an update or fix?
I am using latest version of Cookie

If you open up Console.app, in the "Applications/Utilities" folder, do you see any entries related to Cookie?

also, do you have a large number of Cookies? (2000+)
