Changes from Cookie 6
-
Cookie 7 has a number of improvements over Cookie 6, and was quite a large refactor. The most notable and obvious changes are:
- macOS 12+ (Monterey) only
- A new browser extension for Firefox and Chrome based browsers for much improved removal support
- major code refactor which makes it much easier to add browser support
- New Icon and a bunch of UI tweaks and improvements
- Cookie now has support for over 22 Browsers - Safari, Safari Technology Preview, Chrome, Chrome Dev, Chrome Beta, Chrome Canary, Firefox, Firefox Nightly, Firefox Developer Edition, Chromium, WaterFox, Opera, Opera Beta, Brave, Brave Beta, Brave Nightly, Edge, Edge Dev, Edge Beta, Edge Nightly, Arc and Vivaldi
Also of note, is that Flash support has been removed from Cookie as development was discontinued on the 31st December 2020.

When I downloaded Cookie 7 for Mac, Cookie presented an Import Button. If I click it, will it find what setting from 6 it needs, or, do I need to point the window to what preference file and its location?
-
@blackxacto it should open a window to the directory with Cookie 6 files. you just need to allow Cookie 7 access to the folder

No rush. Please tell me how to set Cookie 7 same as Cookie 6? You did this once before, but I'm on the slower side. I just don't know how to enable, set, uncheck, whatever. 6 settings worked great. I don't understand missing Safari images needing cookies if I enabled it already.
