Cookie not removing cookies

Hello,
I noticed that Cookie does not seem to automatically remove cookies anymore (although all the relevant settings are activated).
Nor does it remove cookies when I click on "Remove Non-Favorites" or "Remove Tracking Cookies".
The only thing I can do is to select a cookie in the list, right click and select "Remove". It sometimes work, not always.
Cookie has full disk access.
Tried quitting cookie and relauching.

Mac OS Monterey 12.7.6
Firefox 129.0

No, I do have a valid license.
But strangely enough, Cookie does work again now (it removes cookie as expected).
Don't know what happened, except that I changed the country setting in my VPN, can this play a role?

Well, now it happens again. I have a list of 52 domains (15 of which are favorites), 236 cookies, and when I click "Remove Non-Favorites" nothing happens. If I try to remove them one by one, sometimes it works, sometimes not.

Removal does take a little time after clicking the button… but it should be no more than a few seconds

Removal does not occur, even after several minutes. Right now, for me, Cookie does not work unfortunately.

I have tried uninstalling Cookie, and removing all files related to it, then restarting the Mac, then reinstalling Cookie. To no avail.

does removal work for Safari?
are you using the Firefox Extension, and if yes does it have the required permissions in Firefox to run?

This is with Firefox. Removal seems to work for Safari.
I am using Cookie Helper.

I don't understand the difference between the Helper and the extension. I have clicked on "Install" for the extension, but it is not listed in the Firefox extensions, only the Helper.

Yes, it seems to mostly work, although some cookies are still not deleted: e.g. Wikipedia.org, fujifilm-x.com, dpreview.com, imdb.com among others.

Im not sure what’s happening on your setup. But if you close Firefox, then perform a removal via Cookie, it will trigger a manual removal. This will bypass the extension, and should remove everything

Thanks Russell. Still not perfect. For instance the imdb.com cookie refuses to be removed… I could also remove some cookies using CleanMyMac X, but still some cookies persist (such as imdb.com).

Do you have this https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/imdb-movie-search/ or some other IMDb extension installed?

If so, the cookies which are not removed are likely browser extensions. These are whitelisted in Cookie by default. You can change this setting in the Advanced tab in Cookie Settings.

Just Uncheck the option “Never remove Browser extensions’

No, I don't have this extension. And this imdb.com "cookie" contains 11 items, one of which is a tracking cookie, and 3 of which have an sqlite extension.

hmm, I can't recreate this. Cookie deletes imdb and all other cookies just fine on my setup...
