Cookie 7.3 - "Spinning" - MacOS 14.5 (23F79)

Greetings. Cookie 7.3 is "spinning" (well, taking ~300 % CPU) since I upgraded to MacOS 14.5. It takes a very long time to load and complete its task(s). Is this a known issue? What can I provide to help diagnose it?

try a reset of Cookie and see if that helps:

quit Cookie
delete this folder:
~/Libary/Containers/Cookie

I will give that a try when I have a moment. In the meantime, I think I narrowed the problem down to Safari Technology Preview (Release 194 or now 195). Disabling that stops the behavior. Cookie has access to everything, so I'm not sure what its unhappy about with that application.

Sorry for the delay. I was tied up with other matters. I'm now on Cookie 7.3.3, same MacOS version. My Safari Technology Preview is now at 197. I removed the Cookie container (Mine is ~/Library/Containers/com.sweetpproductions.cookie.app) and set Cookie up again. It still goes to 100+% CPU and just spins if I enabled Safari Technlogy Preview. I'm not sure what it's unhappy about. I can work around it by using regular Safari, but it is curious.

I can't recreate this, there must be some corrupt database in Safari Technology Preview.
you could reset STP by deleting this folder:
/Library/Containers/com.apple.SafariTechnologyPreview

Yeah, looks like something in Safari Technlogy Preview was just corrupt. I removed that container and everything is behaving again.
