    At home I have a 2002 iMac, a 2019 and a 2015 MB Pro.
I have been a Cookie user since 2017 and have run Cookies on all three machines.
Recently, on my iMac, I paid for the update to Cookies 7 and it has been running just fine on that computer.
When I went to the SweetP site on my 2015 MB Pro, and updated to v. 7, when I go to Cookie > Preferences > License, if I click on [Restore Purchase] I am asked to sign in with my Apple ID, which I do and following which nothing happens.
    Would appreciate some guidance.

have you signed into the same Apple ID?
This should work, try restarting Cookie, the App Store and maybe even your computer

        • Restarted the computer.
        • Opened Cookie, then Cookie Preferences, then License
        • Clicked on [Restore Purchases]
        • Clicked on [Sign in with your Apple ID]
        • About 2 seconds later, I am back at [Sign in with your Apple ID]
        • Launched App Store where I was already logged in and logged out.
        • Signed into the App Store again using the same Apple ID I used when Cookie requested [Sign in with your Apple ID] and successfully signed in.
        • Went back to [Restore Purchases] again, and again I am back at [Sign in with your Apple ID]
        • Deleted the Cookie.app
        • Restarted in Safe Mode
        • Did a reinstall of Cookie
        • Opened Cookie, then Cookie Preferences, BUT THIS TIME I clicked on Purchase Cookie, NOT Preferences
        • I entered my case sensitive User Name and my Cookie 7 license (using cut and paste so I would not make any mistakes), clicked on Register and got [Whoops! We all make mistakes]
        • Did a normal, not Safe Mode restart
        • Launched Cookie.app, went to Purchase Cookie and got completely different results from those I got when I started in Safe Mode. I.e., there is no choice to enter my User Name and my Cookie 7 license; I am back to the "circular hell" of [Restore Purchases] again.
        • Quit and relaunched Cookie. It opened to the Websites/Unwanted Data/Removal Options/etc. window with [Purchase Cookie] in the upper right hand corner.
        • Clicked on [Purchase Cookie] and once again got the [Whoops! We all make mistakes]
        • Clicked on [Change License] and entered the correct name and license for Cookie 7 [Register] .
        • Guess what? [Whoops! We all make mistakes] yet again.

Another hour of my life wasted. Any more suggestions as to how to get Cookie 7 installed and working on that 2015 MB Pro where Cookies 6 was humming along nicely?

I had a look in my Store, and found your license.
I just resent it. open the SweetP_Productions_License.rtf attachment in the email, and use the Activate Cookie link

              • Got your email
              • Clicked on Download and got the Cookie.dmg
              • Quit Cookies which was running
              • Installed the downloaded version by [Replace] the current version on my Mac
              • Launched Cookie
              • Went to [Purchase Cookie] and it opened to [Whoops! We all make mistakes] once again
              • Clicked on [Change License]
              • Deleted the License that was entered there and cut and pasted the license you emailed me [Register] and again...[Whoops! We all make mistakes]
              • BTW, the license in your email was exactly the same as the license I had saved and using to upgrade to v 7.

Which is why, I presume, you sent me the download link but you can see that didn't work either.

If you would like to do so, I would be ok with doing a zoom session and letting you view what I am doing. I do this weekly with seniors I help with Apple device problems.

Did you see the attachment in the email, there’s an activation link you can click in there to automatically register Cookie.

Your name and the license are both case sensitive and if you are inputting them manually they need to be exactly as in the email

                        • Clicked on [Activate]
                        • Opened with same data which was previously rejected.
                        • Clicked on [Change License]
                        • It took me back to the window I had previously been dealing with and clicked on [Register] ....and got Thanks!
                        • Now, I see [Change License]. Do I click on that???
