Cache Removal
-
I already posted it in my old thread (Cookie 6) that caches are not cleared, but repeat it here.
Now unfortunately I have the problem again that the app does not delete.
I'm on the web with Safari, quit Safari completely, the app only shows favorites, but caches are still there.Cookie v7.0.7
MacOS 13.6
Safari 17.0 -
Thank you!

I have now installed the beta v7.0.7.8. Unfortunately nothing has changed.
Then I tried a personal profile next to the default profile. Neither in the standard profile, nor in the personal profile the caches are deleted.
Likewise in the Safari Technology Preview Release 181 (Safari 17.4, WebKit 18618.1.3.1)macOS 13.6
Safari Version 17.0 (18616.1.27.111.22, 18616) -
After starting Safari and disconnecting from the Internet, the caches are present.
After closing Safari and disconnecting from the Internet, and then restarting Safari without an Internet connection, the caches are still present.Edit: I have one more important addition to make. Other caches of visited international websites are very well deleted, just some are not. What I notice is that most of them are German websites. Can there be a connection?

I have now done a quick test with version 7.0.7.11 and now it seems to work. Thanks a lot!
-
Unfortunately, it still happens that caches are not cleared. Not as often as before, but sporadically.
-
I will monitor it and give feedback. Occurs only sporadically.
-
Now I have another somewhat strange behavior. I am on various websites, but they are not displayed in the app. However, when I close Safari, the "invisible" data is deleted by cookies. Very strange.
-
I understand. But the page "muenchen.social" also contains cookies and is not displayed.
I have now installed v7.1.5.1 and will keep an eye on it. -
After Safari Developer ‘Empty Caches’, the caches are cleared.
For now, I've set this: Show Web Inspector. Network. Disable Caches.
I'll check back here for commentary. I may be doing something incorrectly. I''ll try new builds of Cookie, and report back here. Thanks.
