Sessions not saving

Hello,
I am unable to save sessions using either the Safari extension or through the SessionRestore app itself. I have tried simple fixes like restarting Safari, my Mac, and turning the extension off and on again ( whatever that is worth ).
I am running version 2.6.8 ( although there is still a bug that shows the extension dropdown as version 1 on a "Free Trial," but then changes to the expected version? ). I am also using Safari 15.6.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
