Some Chrome prefs are being reset by Cookie (I think)
-
It does seem that Cookie is affecting this one particular preference setting.
Just updated to to Chrome 59.0.3071.104 (Stable) and is still happening.I not particularly good at figuring out which cookies are linked to particular behaviors, but I think that in this case, the Chrome preference setting for "Use a prediction service to load pages more quickly" lives in a LocalStorage item named 'levelbd.' Favoriting this item in Cookie5 seems to allow our pref setting to persist when Cookie5 runs.

Well, not so fast.
It turns out I was wrong.
For sone reason Cookie5's removal options -> automatic removal options (On Browser Quit) had mysteriously become turned off for the Chrome profile I was using to test, so what seemed like success in thiking that the 'leveldb' Local Storage item held the pref for "Use a prediction service to load pages more quickly" turned o noticed reenabled the removal option. So, Cookie5 is causing Chrome to reset this pref.I have opened Chrome, deselected "Use a prediction service to load pages more quickly" and then favorited every website item in Cookie5. Then when Cookie5 runs (On Browser Quit) that pref becomes reset.
So, Chrome emus be storing the value for this pref somewhere where Cookie5 is clearing it..

I'm bumping this issue since it is still a problem with current version of Cookie5 and Chrome.
Chrome's preference for "Preload pages for faster browsing and searching" is getting reset to ON when Cookie5 clears data.
I'vre tried favoriting and whitelisting cookies for Google as well as favoriting 'leveldb' with no luck.
