Wifi Spoof trial download worked, but not app bought on app store

I downloaded the trial from the website and was able to change the MAC address. I then deleted the app and bought on the App store but the MAC address was greyed out and I could not change it? Any suggestions? I am using a MacBook Air from around 2013/2014.

The trial version from website worked so wondering if there is an issue with one on the app store which I just bought.

you need to install a helper app for the MAS version:

Hello. I had same issue, helper worked.
But what if I have started trial app that have downloaded from this website, and it said it installed helper tool. How do I uninstall non MAS helper tool?
