Twitter, netflix keep logging out

cookie 5, safari on latest el capitan.

I have the twitter and netflix cookies marked as favorite, and they show in the protected list in cookie app. most sites work as expected, but twitter and netflix keep logging me out.

is there another step to make these cookies remember me?

i also run adamant safari adblocker if that matters.
