Cookie Privacy Policy - User Data

I checked and searched and didn't find a definitive answer to this questions. What is the data policy for Cookie and does the app have any home server, or transmit and information to anywhere other than storing it on the local machine? I think it's an important question and worth answering here in the forum. Thank you

@afterdusk the only data transmitted is the version number during update checks. This can be disabled in the version from my store by unchecking Check for updates on the Updates tab in Preferences.
The App Store version is the same, however update checking is handled by macOS, so there is no way to disable the checks.
