Chrome 'Downloads' not being cleared?

@SweetP said in Chrome 'Downloads' not being cleared?:
Ive just uploaded beta version 5.9.9.4
can you let me know if it fixes the downloads removal for youah I see you're on the MAS version.
but, you still can download the beta from here:
https://sweetpproductions.com/products/cookie5/CookieBeta.dmgI just want to confirm that the non MAS beta can be installed alongside the current MAS version. I'll probably put the beta in ~/Applications
Thanks. -
you can only run one copy of Cookie at a time. So you would need to close the Mac App Store version before you open the trial version. and vice-versa
-
I'll test the 5.9.9.4 beta soon.
If anything Cookie related becomes corrupted as a result of mixing the MAS and non-MAS beta version I'm probably going to freak out a little bit. -

@Timmy really?
are you deleted the downloads while Chrome is open or closed - because Its more than likely cached while open. -

The 5.9.9.5. beta looks good!
Chrome downloads are being cleared!
I've only tested this using Remove "On Browser Quit" since that is how I use Cookie in all of my browsers.
Thanks for resolving this, Russell!
Since you are such a browser expert I have a free idea for you for a Safari extension! Interested? -
thats great!
