I understand that you manage the cookies for Safari. But how can I ensure that your app will not steal my data and send it to some one? Does you app connect to internet during managing cookies in Safari? Should I limit the access of your app to access internet from a fire wall?

the Mac App Store version check's it's receipt with Apple, and the version from my store will check my server for updates if you allow it.

You can totally block internet access for my store version though, if you don't mind installing updates manually. Im not sure about the Mac App Store version? try it out and see how you go.

you must be using the Mac App Store version.
Im not allowed to add help in Cookie (for the Mac App Store version) to enable Safari.

but all you need to do is place the scripts from this page in the correct location:

It is working now. But i am suspicious about your app at first. Why did not write this lengthy procedure and giving access to Macs core security features werent mentioned in App Store so that customer will know about such issues prior to purchase. I still feel installing this app will security vulnerability.

the version from my store doesn't need to install the extra scripts (it does it automatically), and Safari is enabled by default. The Mac App Store makes it difficult because they want you to realise that my app (or any app really) is a potential security threat.

But, Cookie has been in the Mac App Store since it first opened in 2011, and I have been developing apps for longer. If Cookie, or any of my apps was doing any thing sneaky - everyone would know by now.
