Timer on/off indicator in menu bar icon

I have the timer set to dump cookies every ten minutes, so it's great to be able to stop the timer from the menubar icon. That way my cookies don't get dumped in the middle of an online banking session or whatever.
The problem is that I'll forget to the turn the timer back on sometimes. If there was some indication in the menu bar whether the timer was running or not, that'd help keep me from being a moron
