    Hey guys,
due to the new System Integrity Protection (SIP) in El Capitan, it is no longer easy to install Safari Cookies. However there is a work-around to get it working. this was sent to me by another user:

I just upgraded from Yosemite to El Capitan and noticed that Safari Cookies no longer works. On your blog I read it's because of SIMBL issues.

On Xtrafinder's Facebook page I found some steps to get Xtrafinder work on El Capitan. So I just tried some similar steps to get Safari Cookies back and it seems to work:

    1. Boot into Recovery console and disable SIP.
    2. Install Safari Cookies.
    3. Enter two lines in terminal:

    sudo mv /Library/ScriptingAdditions/SIMBL.osax /System/Library/ScriptingAdditions/SIMBL.osax
    sudo ln -s /System/Library/ScriptingAdditions/SIMBL.osax/Library/ScriptingAdditions/SIMBL.osax

    1. Boot into Recovery console and re-enable SIP.

Safari Cookies is now shown again in Safari's settings dialog and seems to work fine.[/quote]

all credit goes to Sven for posting this work-around.
    🙂
