@mstall sorry yes you are correct. The full folder path is
~/Library/Containers/com.sweetpproductions.cookie.app but the finder actually displays it as ~/Library/Containers/Cookie
It is definitely a little confusing. I wrote the full path because I wasn't sure if macOS Ventura showed the full path or the abbreviated path... it must be macOS 12 which shows the full path. apologies for the confusion.

how many databases does Cookie show?
if you have many databases in particular, this can really slow Cookie down, as it parses every one of them
@SomebodyHere you shouldn't need to remove that folder to fix this issue
Try a full reset:
@Robson did you do a computer restart?
try removing browser permissions then restart you computer before restarting Cookie
@itsme ive just uploaded beta version 7.9.0.1 with improvements to Safari database recognition, could you give that a try and let me know how it goes.
does the data still remain after restarting Safari. some data like cache and session cookies will display in Safari settings till you restart Safari
