@yowlbv sorry for the late reply, Ive been deep in Apple sIlicon update the past month.

I dont use Google drive but, you should just be able to check Google as a favorite. You will more than likely need to whitelist some tracking cookies (RED cookies) to keep your login. For example for Gmail, I think it is the NID cookie which needs to whitelisted.

That is a bug, what are the circumstances this happens in? Are you trying to uncheck and entire domains, or single cookies? and is this on the All tab, or within a particular browser/user?

I don't know of any global managers like Cookie, you'll probably need a selection of browser extensions to get a similar result.

I have enjoyed Cookie 5 for some time. Works well. The new version though is way too expensive! I think I paid around $10 for Cookie 5. Cookie 6 is $27!

@r1b3r0 When you first enable icloud syncing all current settings will be uploaded to icloud.

Cookie then checks for updates at launch. It will also be notified when a preference has been changed on another device, and update accordingly. Any Chnges to preferences will also be uploaded to icloud immediately.

or to do it manually, copy across the contents of this folder:

@odebroque if you open(ed) Preferences.
On the Advanced tab,
There is a button Remove all sandbox permissions
That will(would have) fix(ed) the problem

@revdlc if you open up Preferences. Go to the Advanced tab. Then click the “Remove all sandbox permissions” button. That should fix the issue.

If so, try this:
Quit Safari.
Transfer the cookie file to your new computer:
~/Library/Cookies/Cookies.binaryCookies
Restart your computer (or at least logout)

Cookie has NEVER been working correctlly with firefox, made me loose countless productivity time by multiples bugs : corrupting my profile, my extensions, it breaks history, and even breaking the browser (yes some websites doesn't work until you rebuild your database). I made multiple reports here just to see versions over versions with "fixes" that improves nothing. At the end, i just let firefox managing cookies as i m tired of reporting and loosing my profile and history again and again. Makes cookie useless since firefox is my main browser, actually i wish i can get a refund.

So long story short : if you need firefox browser working, stay away from cookie until the dev makes serious work AND tests to provide reliable software that doesn't break your browser. I have enough of chasing database corruption in firefox after cookie "cleans" it, it's going on for months if not years.

I try to keep my notifications for critical things. An extra notification for something that happens every time I close my browser isn't for me.

All good either way, I just liked the gear icon. 🙂

If you use the version from my store, there’s an option to check under the help menu, or on the updates tab in preferences. For the App Store version, you need to check the updates tab in the App Store.

It was configured to clean on Browser Quit.

It will be right next to the domain name.

Are you sure you have full disk access enabled?

it seems this issue can occur, if you use Firefox's built in cookie removal. The fix is to use either Cookie or Firefox to manage your Firefox cookies, but not both.

Also, make sure you are using the latest versions of Firefox and Cookie - as some compatibility fixes were added to Firefox 80, and Cookie 6.1.1

hmm,

Cookie relies on using the start at login option in Preferences to know it needs to clean. Use and Hide - to not open the window.

If Cookie is not opening via the built in method, then it won't run the cleaning schedule.
