The files are most likely still in the folder. You can show them with my free desktop utility app:

    https://sweetpproductions.com/products/desktoputility/DesktopUtility.dmg

Click the show invisible files button.
Once you find them, remove the . From the beginning of the file name.
Remember to click the hide invisible files button (in FrsktopUtility) once you have renamed them.

if you have a time machine backup you could restore this folder:
    ~/Library/Containers/com.sweetpproductions.Invisible

or you could also manually unhide the file(s) like so:
    Open Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app
    paste in this command:

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles YES press enter relaunch the finder locate your files

Invisible adds a . to the beginning of your files,
    just remove the .

    then, undo the changes:

Open Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app paste in this command: defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles NO press enter then relaunch the finder

you could reset Invisible by deleting this folder:
    ~/Library/Containers/com.sweetpproductions.Invisible

your password will not be affected, and you should never do this if you still have files saved in Invisible

    to enter your license,
click the "Invisible" menu at the top of the screen then choose "Purchase Invisible"

clicking Restore (after highlighting a file) should put the file back where it originally was
